You could make him your mascot or something. Would have been fun if he was some ace player that had this insane, and unhealthy, fascination with cats...
Theres a MKN video of Soukyu that has a bunch of cats, must be one of those guys. |

this is where things get sticky. the thing is, i have no "ZOMG fucking master" achievements under my belt... i simply play TOO MUCH SHIT. there are nearly 2 dozen games i play on a semi-regular basis. thing is, i've never been able to buckle down and focus. when i first saw the site, i just thought, "fuck. cool concept," as a westerner, i'd never even heard of a "shmup team."
so after considering the matter quite a bit, and gathering up my large oversized balls, i began trying to get some COWBOY attention.
in short, i think being a team member will help my skills improve, and allow me to narrow my field of vision, and excel in a specific area. after all, it seems like NOA and yourself, have your own specific goals, and sort of use COWBOY as a banner to rally around.
however, i understand that i am asking a lot, probably too much.
and if you still care, i can get more specific information concerning my own achievements.
and this is the hard part...

Maybe you should take a look in that western players hs thread and then choose one game from your collection that you like and try to improve on said highscore before applying.
I'm not mocking you but there's some good motivation to be had there and personally I would feel a bit emarrased if I didn't have a good score to put up next to my name. |

yeah, this was basically what my weekend was, going through my collection and seeing what i wanted to tackle first... and the winner is... Zero Gunner 2!
i've been absolutely thirsting to play this game, but for someone reason or another, couldn't motivate myself to unbury the old DC. finally got to it on saturday, and had a grand old time blowing shit up and collecting shit.
also, i was surprised how comfortable i still am with it. it took me forever to get a "lock" (pun intended) on the rotation mechanism, and i still find it as intuitive as i did before. if current trends continue, i expect a 1cc to come in the next few days. 
i figure that this game will be a great place to start; fun, challenging (not hard, but you have to start somewhere  ), and a reasonably easy game to pick up and play.
anyway, thanks everyone. and i'm actually registered now, so i don't expect to be hiding behind anything in the future (my apologies to RJJ )

| don't you hate when you get past a certain point, and can never seem to do it again. i could get well into stage 6 last week, but now even the stage 5 boss is giving me all kinds of shit. -_- i mildly frustrated... |

also: the 1-5 and 1-6 bosses are easier than the 1-4 one.
