New doujin Cave arrangement album coming at the end of December. At least one track from each and every game between Donpachi to Pink Sweets is arranged. Looks interesting.

I'll let you know when I get it, probably via torrent first in this case. ^_-

I asked cocoebiz if they would have this cd for sale. My message, like the last 3 messages I sent them, went completely ignored.

They've been having email problems lately, so be patient. I very much doubt that Cocoebiz would get a doujin album of this nature (not commercially released), therefore the best place to get it is off YAJ or some kind of site that deals in this kind of material.

I hope electric guitars were involved in the making of this album.

Seconded. I'm still waiting for a ULTRA-heavy version of Ketsui's stage 4 song...

I'm doubting you'll hear any electric guitars. If you've heard their stg x stg album it's all pretty much techno dance stuff. I posted an Ikaruga arrange over at super-play.co.uk a while back (first link).

Quote:
I've got the following two tracks which were off of the STG x STG album by Cool & Create, and Shooting Battle 3rd Attack.

LINK STG-FOREVER #4 'one-nine eighty seven' LINK - It's not entirely Ikaruga since it's from a 4 song medley from all sorts of shooters, but it's pretty catchy. I'm sooo sorry about the guy who starts singing around the middle of it though.

LINK Beyond Brightness and Darkness LINK - This one is basically just a very lazy arrangement of the boss theme. Thumbs down from me.

That's all I think I have.

This sounds very J-Pop, with a bit of everything else thrown in. Uploading to SendSpace now. Will bump the thread with a fresh post and the download link later today, and will also mirror the OST info at namakoHQ. ^_-

The first track (a rearrange of Dodonpachi Daioujou's first stage) is pretty good.
The Dodonpachi remix (first and fourth stage) is done in a C64 chiptunes style and then goes into a hard rock guitar, which is pretty funny.
The remix of Ibara's stage 1 is arranged to sound like Garegga's stage 1 arranged version. (I had to do a double-take the first time it came on.)
And the Progear boss medley is pretty good.

I like this OST, but I'll let you guys listen to it and decide for yourselves. ^_-

You've clearly never looked in my 'stuff' directory!

Shit like this is fine; like 5 people read this board and it's not like the RIAA is going to (or even can) come breathing down anyone's neck for this stuff. The worst that will ever happen is dreamhost would get some badly translated english email and likely have no idea what is going on.

BTW, I think something is weird with the rar anyways, I get CRC errors on 3 files when I extract it.
